Morning team returning to KYSR

After a monthlong absence, the KYSR-FM morning team of Jamie, Jack and Stench — Jamie White, Jack Hine and Mike Roberts — will be returning to the air at 7 a.m. Monday.

Although no explanation was provided when they left, management of the Burbank-based Star 98.7 now says they were bumped, along with other on-air personalities, while a new music format was introduced.

White, on her third set of co-hosts since joining KYSR in 1998, won't be back for long. She's due to go on maternity leave at the end of the month and is expected to be out for at least three weeks. Jack and Stench will continue on the air during that time and will be joined by guest hosts such as Megan Mullally, Lisa Rinna and Dana Devon, according to General Manager Craig Rossi.
